  2. If I ever forget to bend back and fold the tape over after a use, I find that if I put the tape roll in the sunlight for an hour or so, it is a lot easier to find the end and unroll it.

  3. After enough years, finally got into the habit of folding over any and all tape. No longers a problem.

  5. There was an eye surgeon on Dragon's Den in the UK recently (US version is Shark Tank) who had the idea of using a black cardboard reel instead of white as the former for the roll of tape. The end of the tape is then clearly and instantly visible. No one else seemed to like the idea, thinking that people wouldn't realise it was clear tape!

  6. After struggling to release the end of a Duct tape roll, I fold the end over of every kind of the five different types of tape I own.

  8. I use a paper clip at the end, instead of folding end over.
