Northern Lights, Looking North In Redding

The red color is light from town reflected off the bottom of the clouds.  The green is the Northern Lights.

Can't see it with the naked eye, but with a ten second exposure it comes out.

  6. When I was younger the only way to see the aurora was to be close to the Arctic Circle. Observing it in the lower 48 was extremely rare.
