And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
What have we got here? Possibly a little beef brisket, maybe some corn bread, some ribs (three?), a big piece of chicken (spread out), . . . don't know what is in the little white cup, . . . and something that is way overdone (black) . . . ?
I learned a few things from some analytic chemists in San Antonio. One item was that the red rind in pit-smoked BBQ is rich in heterocyclic amines which are the suspected carcinogenic agents in meat. Tasty, tasty heterocyclic amines.
That pic's been around for years, its such a great shot, always wanted to see the rest of the waitress. She sure looks good holding up all those meats!
