And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If you gave me the car I could drive it till it needed it's first servicing. Then I could no longer afford it. A typical oil change service $1000-1500, 5 year service $5000-10000, a brake job $7000-10000. Brakes usually do not last as long as tires. They are high performance cars that need more attention that a normal car.
I would definitely drive it but would not leave it unsupervised on the side of the street
