  1. Ever been in a neighborhood where the streets are in alphabetical order? That's how they do it. It's a LOT of work.

  2. Kiruna, Sweden is being moved two miles due to subsidence from the iron mine. I would guess that these buildings are being moved to create wider roadways through the town without having to buy/expropriate and demolish all those buildings. The entire downtown of Chicago was lifted in the 1850s.

  3. That video is Shanghai, they moved them over to run a new subway then moved them back on top. They were 100 year old buildings with some sort of significance.
