And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Fondue means no double dipping, and no sticking the fork into the pot, just the food. If anyone needed to be told this, they deserve what they get. Including stabbed with someone else's fondue fork.
OTOH, 70s food (and many other things - witness lemon yellow and avocado green appliances) is the natural evolution of a decade of heavy LSD use, as if there were no consequences for that.

One Thanksgiving someone brought a loaf of bread that had green olives (with pimento) baked into it. Very good!
