  1. That spectacular abode is way too fancy for me and my tastes.

  2. I have no well in hell of affording the taxes, the maintenance, the utilities etc. But, what the hell. Free beer and loud music count me in for the party, and a place to crash and breakfast with lots of coffee. And don't tow off my junker Ford.

  3. While it has a great view, it looks pretty sterile. Bare walls, bare stairwells, no color except concrete white, no flowers and so on.

  4. Sterile, and very hard to keep comfortable. All that glass - even the best double-paned stuff is going to transmit a lot of heat from the sun. It's also going to lose a lot of heat when it's cold outside. Of course, almost anything can be fixed if you spend enough money.

  5. Yeah, Lebanon used to be a nice place back when this was probably built. RSLynes

    1. Ive studied up on Frank Lloyd Wright after YouTubes served me up a couple of REAL interesting documentaries about the man.
      I like the concepts.
I would like to have designed and built a modern house using them.
I especially like the way Wright causes his disigns to "breathe".
You go from smaller, tighter spaces to larger, expansive ones and back again as you move thru.
      Intresting concepts, yes?

  8. I wonder if it's really earthquake proof?

    1. No, but the feet-thick concrete roof is great at stopping stray mortar rounds.

  9. I wonder if Israel has bombed the shit out of it yet.

  10. I swear, I'm losing it!
Took me far TOO long to realize that all four pics were of the same house.
