  1. Who won? "The capture of USS Chesapeake, also known as the Battle of Boston Harbor, was fought on 1 June 1813, between the Royal Navy frigate HMS Shannon and the United States Navy frigate USS Chesapeake, as part of the War of 1812 ."

71 men killed,10 - 15 minutes. Interesting account on Wikipedia.

  2. The art series gives hermit shut-ins like me a window to the world of expression I would never know to view otherwise.
Same for hot babes and titties, but that's an altogether different art form.

  4. Patrick O'Brien was the author of the Aubrey–Maturin series. This is a different guy. An artist with the same name painting a picture of the same battle that the author wrote a book about.
That's the problem with the Irish, everyone has the same names.
A guy with my name from the next town over (no relation) was in a fatal car/pedestrian accident in front my house address. I had some odd phone calls the next day.

    1. Thanks for that.
I didn't think the Aubrey-Maturin writer was a painter, but the painter is undoubtedly trying to capitalize on the author's success.
