And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've got several Case pocketknives, and they always come from the factory sharp, and none of them have failed to perform. The kids can decide what to do with them after I cross the divide, as they'll still be looking good and fully functional.
Knives have been one of my many lifelong fetishes and I probably have 300 or more. I think I've only spent $72 or more on about 3 or 4 of them. My FIL gave me a very old Case like the one in the pik but it has 2 blades.
Carried a Case copperhead with yellow Delrin scales for 25 years at work. The scales are worn silky smooth. It still locks up tight, and maintains a good edge without much sharpening. This after being used every day for a quarter century. Did I get my money's worth? Oh, yes...
Got some old large Case folders perfect condition. Dad bought them and never told us about them. Got an old Treebark Boker too. Still in the paper wrapper.
$72....no way.
