  5. Called "decking" and it pulls like you have a trailer on the back. I have done that a few times while working for Airgas we would get new tractors and since I had a triples endorsement on my CDL, and seniority I would fly to the plant in the mid-west and drive them back to Portland.

  6. What Cederq said, I have undecked "a few" (heh) of these trucks, when I worked in the industry, they are securely bolted down and have no problem with corners.
