  3. Modern guitar w/ vintage appointments.
    The 'TV' stands for 'television'. Gibson originally used the designation guitars with a black pickguard and a finish color which I think of as being about the color a greyish banana pudding, In the era of b/w television, it was thought to show off the guitar better than any other color. Dusenberg uses the TV moniker because the fixtures -tuners, vibrato, bridge, etc.... evoke the aesthetics of 50's television sets.
    I'd love to play one.

    1. I had to pick up "color corrected" products for TeeVee commercial use in the day. I friend's father was an on-air announcer at NBC in the Three-Network days, he would take home color correct for B&W cakes, etc used in live commercials, a treat for his children.
