  1. Yes, but what is she using for air?

  2. The pure athleticism to hold her breath long enough to stand on the bottom of what looks to be a 20' deep pool and the elegance to dance like that is impressive as can be.

  5. First she had to get to the bottom of the tank and wait until the air bubbles from her clothes and descent rose out of sight.
But where did she get that old fashioned bathing suit?

  6. That's not ballet.
It's hypoxia, just before she sinks to the bottom of the pool.

  7. We're looking at less than 10 seconds of video. No hypoxia in that. A marginally healthy person can hold their breath for at least 35-45 seconds. Imagine what an athlete can do. Impressive nonetheless.

    1. First she had to get to the bottom of a 30' pool, then, as noted, wait for the bubbles to dissipate, then start swimming around.
Then the two hours and twenty minutes to pass before you popped in and thought I was being as concrete-reasoning serious as Mister Spock.
      Well-played. You got me.

    2. My 4 year old totally blind daughter would go diving in the deep end of the pool to retrieve golf clubs thrown in by my friends after a bad day at the course. She would earn a quarter per club. Cutest mermaid ever!
