  1. Honest question. It looks like the light reflecting off the earth and the light reflecting off the astronaut are from two different sources/angles.Does anyone else see this?

    1. The most logical thought is that the light on the Earth is from the sun, and the light on the astronaut is from the ship.

    2. Nope.
      Look closer.
The sun, looking at the picture, is located at 3 o'clock on the picture, to the astronaut's left, and part of the shadows are caused by intervening equipment on the station.

The shading of the earth behind him is consistent with that angle. It's shaded, not fully illuminated.

      The lighting is consistent.

  2. Love to try that. All the universe just for the looking all around you.
