  4. Need a degree in electrical diagnosis. But they are hard to beat and expensive. Military used them all over the globe. Have a Rover and I love it. Wish I had the money for old Defender square body.

    1. I had a blue Series 3 just like the one in the picture. Electrics are as basic as you can get, no electronics, just plain simple switches, a few old fashioned relays, bulbs and motors. Couldn't be simpler. The whole thing is simple and basic.

  5. Army service corps stats indicate you had to have 7 identical to keep 5 operational.

  6. In my country English stuff was about all you could buy way back. Locals fitted a GM straight six, 186 cubic inch motor, into them which made them pretty useful and reliable.

  7. Lucas electrics. The English drink their beer warm. The English use Lucas refrigerators. I live the Toyota.is a "better" choice, but that's just me.
