And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Flew into DFW last week amidst heavy clouds. Turbulence sucked bad. Pilot was swinging around them on his way to line up to land. The way we were tilting back & forth for a moment, I wondered if perhaps our pilot was a doggo.
Flying a CRJ from Phoenix to John Wayne, the pilot must've felt like making up time. Max descent, too fast landing speed. Three hops and a final landing. At the gate I asked the copilot if they're gonna log all four landings. The pilot shot me a very disapproving look.
