  2. Nothing better than being near the starting line when a T/F duo leave. The incredible noise and vibration and the smell of nitro are off the charts cool. Standing near the finish line when they flash past at full power is another great experience.

  3. The exhaust from the headers is part of the downforce, and somewhat acceleration too, so the energy is being used. The angle of the outlets is regulated by the rules. Also it splits the hydrogen from the water vapor and it burns when it hits atmosphere.
T/F is a physical experience. Everyone should go to a T/F race at least once. Otherwise, I tend to find drag racing a boring pastime.

  8. the trailer has 3 spare engines at $100,000 each, 8 spare clutches at decent used pickup price each, the trailer is worth more than my house, the crew cab dually that pulls it would fund a three car garage, and the Wobbleknockersaurus Rex that walks backwards in front of the car is priceless. what do these guys do for a living that pays them enough for toys like this and gives them time to play with those toys?

They put advertising stickers all over these cars. The bigger and more visible the size and location, the more it costs.
Same with patches on their driving suits.
      Sorta like NASCAR...
