  1. Nicely poached eggs although I can't abide them being next to the beans!

    1. The beans really don't do it for me at all.

    2. Having been there for two weeks twice in the past two years, my vote is that other than recipes imported from other cultures, the only good meal that country has is a full English breakfast.
The beans are better if they’re in a cup or small bowl so as to not get cold quickly.

  8. I'd call that dinner... and maybe lunch ... but it's way too much food for breakfast.

  9. That's not british because of the bacon and ketchup. The brits wouldn't know bacon from mutton.

  11. That looks great. But Ketchup? No, a bottle of malt vinegar or H&P Sauce for me. I love to make my version every Saturday before I get working around the house or garden. Keeps me full until almost dinner time.

    1. I will also add easy to do when camping. Leftover brats or hot dogs, and beans from the night before. Just warm those things up while cooking the eggs and toast.

  15. I have been in England many times and that does not look like an "English Breakfast" as I do not remember bacon or beans or ketchup. I also did not get much in a breakfast in England.
