And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
yup. saw my old 20 dollar pound hound do stuff like that all the time. that damn dog could get out of anything. always came back though at dinner time. image that ? 17 years of him. although the last two where a bit rough on him. when he got to the point where he was falling down while trying to walk. I knew it was time. always a happy dog though. was almost blind the last year and a half of his life. but he knew his way around and you wouldn't know unless you looked close at his eyes. old Jack was a great dog.
