And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

BTW, for next year's attempt, go with either piranha, or barracuda. Work up to the bigger predators over time: tiger sharks, threshers, hammerheads. Make the Great White the finale. And no jet engines. Just an arcing leap would sell it better.
If none of those attempts work, start putting hunters in the frame, and giving the guys in the duck boat flamethrowers, miniguns, etc. Maybe a Stinger missile or AAA.
Then transition to some real Rat Fink ratrod boats as the years go by.
Maybe the jet exhaust was a step too far.
