And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I am pretty sure that this is a British "Harrier." The USMC just $hit canned its last unit of them. My understanding is that Marine air maintenance hated that bird.
I remember seeing my first AV8-A at Iwakuni, when they were new and I was young. I've been back, and everything is changed, the building I worked in is gone, the train station is new, the roads are wider, the house I lived in is gone, as are the bars. I sure don't feel that old, so what happened?
The wing shape and pylons make it look like the much enhanced Marine upgrade rather than the original British version. Clever but they had a relatively high accident rate - as you would expect when your hovering about on four columns of exhaust.
looks kinda hairy

They operated both the ship type and bird at one time, no?
