And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've always thought that company's name was derived from a mistake that was made during manufacturing. I can imagine the design department telling the workers to put the insignia of our company on the front lower center of the product so people will know it's ours!
They give them away so they can gather and sell your personal viewing habits, building the profile on you with all the other sources of data that they collect (public records, credit card use, etc). YOU are the product, not the TV.

ReplyDeleteWe're still using our 42" Sanyo we bought about 15 years ago and it cost $1200 then.
