And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
According to google, this is a Greek chicken gyro. I was always under the impression, wrongly according to google, that a gyro is a sandwich.
Wiki: Gyros, sometimes anglicized as a gyro[2][3][4] (/ˈjɪəroʊ, ˈdʒɪər-, ˈdʒaɪr-/; Greek: γύρος, romanized: gýros/yíros, lit. 'turn', pronounced [ˈʝiros]), is meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie, then sliced and served wrapped or stuffed in pita bread, along with other ingredients such as tomato, onion, fried potatoes, and tzatziki.
I'd eat that.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Looks fantastic.
