Blasting Through The Cloud

  1. Whole upper surface of the aircraft is creating a localized low pressure area. A wing can be thought of as kinda sorta, "sucked" up into the air by this low pressure area created above it. Just as the phrase, "heat of compression" is true in the way a diesel engine ignites fuel, adiabatic cooling reduces the localized temperature to below the dew point in some circumstances and...instant "cloud". Knowing even a little about the physics going on around you is mind boggling. I'm convinced that's why Einstein's hair looked like it did. Knowing what he knew would have me pushing my hands through my hair regularly as well.

  2. Yes, making the cloud might be more accurate. Fun!

  3. Why did I read that as, "...heat of compassion...."?
