  2. Per Google lens and AI: South Fork of the Boise River flowing through a deep canyon in the Boise Mountains, near Anderson Ranch Dam in Idaho.

    1. Starting yesterday my brother is on the south fork. He planned for three weeks. Alone, enjoying the solitude.
Big storm last night. Bigger storms to the north.

  3. Bet there's some river rolled gems and placer gold to be hunted for.

  4. One of the most dangerous roads I know of is along the river above (it's Arrowrock) Dam. Used to run Fire/EMS up that way. Emergency up the lower end of the South Fork? SOL. Boat or helicopter rescue. If they know of it.

  5. Not far from where I used to bow hunt for elk. Was awesome until it got overrun. You won't even find an open spot to camp anymore.
