  1. The B-52 is one of the very few aircraft that the federal government has not either screwed up or replaced with a POS.

  2. Of course the B1B, the B2 and now the B21 are part of our fleet.

  3. That beauty is always getting updated and booster shots. About the only thing they've never had to replace is the Chem Trail switch. (Just kidding, just kidding.)

    1. That's alright, all the newer boeing offerings come standard with these switches.

  4. Does not show the actual differences in the B-52 from 1955 to 2025. They should have used a picture of a B-52B which was flying in 1955. Had turbojet engines (smoother cowling) instead of turbofans (gap in cowling), no chin bump, and guns pointing out the back. Still, a great plane, made greater during the advancements in the production run and especially the upgrades.

    1. And the B-52B had a much taller vertical stabilizer.

    2. Yeah, B-52B was a long time ago. The remaining ones in 2025 are all B-52H, built 1961 to 1962, before I was born. The H models are scheduled to get new avionics and engines and will be re-coded as B-52J.
