And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That looks like a good choice. But someone help me with the blade style, please. What advantage does that shape give over others? And does anyone keep the pocket clip in place or am I just resistant to change?
Check out this one. It is the one I have. Sure like the one you posted. Hard to keep a folder clean enough for food. I take mine camping, hunting and use for lunch on jobsites. Use in the kitchen too

Clipping the knife to my pocket has never felt "right" to me, I guess too many years of just having it in my pocket. I generally take the clip off.
DeleteMy daily carry is a Gerber Quick Draw and I keep it clipped INSIDE my pocket so it doesn't get intermingled with other things in that pocket.
DeleteThat Gerber is lacking a point so stabbing is out of the question. I see no advantage to that blade shape.
It’s a cleaver
DeleteChopping & long slices
So it’s more of a kitchen tool or a camp cooking prep tool
That's a lot of money for a pocket knife if you ask me...
ReplyDeleteRob, you can always go with something from China. Much cheaper.
DeleteLot's of American made knives well under $100 out there...
DeleteWhoa. $184. Too rich for my blood, for a knife with a broken blade....
DeleteThe Gerber I carry cost about $40 10 years ago.
That kinda money I'm going Benchmade.

ReplyDeleteI like pointy knives. Pointy Buck knives particularly.
