  3. See Robert Mitchum movie "His Kind of Woman" for a non-typical Vincent Price role.

  4. 7th/8th grade science class, end of year class could choose a movie to watch. Teachers loves Edgar Allen Poe so this was one the class watched.

    1. Same, here. You didn’t happen to go to school in Southern Kentucky?

Price was a man of very refined taste but did not take himself overly seriously in that. See here for a comical, but very well done, example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSl41mW0NK4

  6. Obviously a member of the Malfoy family tree.

Pity he wasn't alive any more when the Harry Potter movies came out. He would have made a splendid cast member.

As it is, he had more fame from his "Thriller" voice over, and his turns as Egghead on Batman on '60s TV, than for all his other cinematic efforts combined.

  7. During the whole of a dull, dark, and soundless day in the autumn of the year, when the clouds hung oppressively low in the heavens, I had been passing alone, on horseback, through a singularly dreary tract of country; and at length found myself, as the shades of the evening drew on, within view of the melancholy House of Usher.
