  2. Typically, in race time, a low side happens relatively slowly, and you got time to react, its that transition from having tire adhesion to zero contact patch, its an eternity in a sense. Besides if you're hot footing it, you're on the ragged edge anyways.

    2. Right, basically. Sometimes its possible to "pull" it out, your knee is an out rigger, the wheels and crankshaft are gyros, why the low side can be "slow" enough youhave reaction time to pull, kind of a yank, the gyros do not want to suddenly let the bike change aspect, every little bit helps in that sense, helps if you have lots of upper body strength. Only need enough counter action for the front tire to hook back up, the rubber is pretty hot, doesn't need much just a little bit of weight and its like it never happened.
