And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
What a Hole it's stuck in, I better get back there and check it out. Shit it's been almost 70 years ago. Oh well, if not this life, maybe the next one.
Rode through on a family road trip in the mid-60s when we visited Jellystone NP. After that we went south to my aunt and uncle’s cabin near Meeker, CO. It was a memorable trip. In 2016 we drove down from Billings through the NP, but avoided JH on principle.
I grew up on the other side of the Tetons from Jackson. Libs have destroyed both sides, it’s now the most affluent county in the nation. Median home price is 2.5 mil. It’s nuts.
I worked the Wyoming oilfields in the 70's and 80's, when we finally would get a weekend off we would drink our way up to Jackson to chase the mormon girls who were "always" there whooping it up, crazy girls! A whole bunch of fun!!
Not that much, same location today https://maps.app.goo.gl/GH1QBCLJR4Gupemz9
ReplyDeleteNot that much? Ha. It’s a liberal shithole.
DeleteMost Wyomingites don't consider Jackson to be part of Wyoming.
DeleteSadly, it does. Snotty a**ed libtard town. Spent 3 days there, should have stayed in Whitefish, MT 2 of those 3 back on '06.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Mountain Khakis ain't HQed there, as most believe. South End Neighborhood of Charlotte, yes.
