  2. I like the genre, ladies with dragons, sabre tooth tigers etc ... I never realised that ancient women were so clean and well groomed either, never seen hairy legs on one.

  3. I've always wondered about how the earth's core is pictured? Where does the sunlight-like lighting come from?

  4. At first I thought it was an early Frazetta, or inspired by one, but a quick check shows me it this was painted before Frank Frazetta was born. Maybe St. John was Frazetta's inspiration?
