  1. CS-TMP (Luzair) MSN 1248 formerly JY-AGJ (Royal Jordanian) L-1011-385-3 Tristar 500 moved to Underwater Military Museum Dive Site, Aqaba, Jordan on 26 August 2019 for use as a tourist dive site. (From Wikipedia) - The "S" dust ntake for engine # 2 (center) was really different from the straight through design of the DC-10. The "S" duct let the engine thrust be lower thus closer to the CG.

  3. The L1011 and the Boeing 727 were two of my favorite planes to fly on, or in....coincidence?...I think not....

  4. Judging from the rudder position, he oughta be leaning to his right to keep his balance.

  5. L-1011's always bring to mind Eastern-401 going into the Everglades in late '72. Distraction caused by a burnt-out light bulb. Somewhat akin to TWA-514 in '74 going into a mountain while on approach to IAD.
