And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Too much so. In the past year I've ditched the cups and went back to what I used in the army - plugs. So much easier all the way around, and I can hear what's being said to me. I bought a 24 pack of plugs in little plastic lidded boxes, on amazon and now have them everywhere they might be needed, range bags, truck console, gun cases, etc.
It's too darned warm 8 months out of the year to wear these in TX, and the NRR isn't enough for rifle fire without plugs underneath, especially rifle fire through compensators next to you.
Righto Larry, you cannot get a proper check weld with them. I have bought a couple pairs of some inexpensive protectors that reduce sound by about 34db for $15. Also no good for rifle shooting if you want consistent sight picture, but great for table saws, chop saws, chain saws, grinders of any kind, impact wrenches, not paying attention to your wife's blather, no electronic help, just mufflage. Sorry CW, love your site, but 26db NRR not nearly enough.
