  2. I see an electric light. A little farther away from people and I would happily spend the rest of my days there.

  3. Smoky shack. You've got to have the top of your chimney/stovepipe higher than the peak of the roof. If it isn't, you will not have a good draw, and smoke will, at least some of the time, be forced back down the flue. This will be most significant when trying to start a fire, as there is no column of heat in the flu to help it draw, and it will as likely be blowing back at you as up the pipes. Also, shifting snow load at that location could potentially take those pipes right off the shack, in an unideal situation.
