  2. I'll have to post that on my FB page for my car-hauler buddies.(When I'm allowed back on FB, I've been banned for almost 5 months out of the last year) I spent 30 years as a Teamster and 15 of them were car hauling. Car hauling has sure changed. I could tell you stories.

    1. I'd 'heard' that the driver was responsible for damage to the cars, personally responsible. Any truth to that?

    2. Not if you were a Teamster. If you hit a bridge and if it was your fault, you were done. Shit happens on a truck. You go down a side street or even some main drags and hit a branch, the car would be totaled. Company I worked for totalled a Chevy Blazer, the ones with the rear fiberglass top for a damaged top. No sheet metal, just the removable top was damaged. When I retired, any damage over $100 had to be disclosed to the buyer. Like I said, I could tell you guys stories, all day long.
