  1. Looks like the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio, a great place to see & it's free.
I was especially taken by the "Air Force One exhibits". All the aircraft used by the Presidents... standing in the plane next to where LBJ & Mrs Kennedy stood when he was sworn in as President of the United States in Nov 1963.

  2. That's the aircraft type from which I made my school jumps in '67. Flown by AF Reserve out of D.C. because all the 130s were in SEA.

    Thanks for the post.

  3. This type of plane was also used to spray defoliants in Vietnam. The Wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton OH is a treasure.

  4. Yes, & this is also the gunship platform of Stinger/Shadow during Vietnam war.

  5. Dad flew C119's in and out of Korea well before Vietnam. The link goes to my birthday wishes for Dad (just yesterday), which includes a picture of him in front of his C119. After landing at Cheju Do, they told him he was the first one to ever land an aircraft there at that size.

  6. Is that the plane Clutch Cargo flew? If you are younger than 60, you may
    not get this!

  7. I was in that plane back in 2017. Spent 2 days there. Yes, my wife loves me.
