And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Had an 850 Interstate Commando in my early 20s. Rode that bike all over the west. Took it once up the coast from Santa Monica to Marin County crossing the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. Great ride, met some wild folks.
Coming back to CO going cross Utah was something else, flat and the road went straight over the horizon. Had that bike well over a 100(no wind screen) and slowing down to 55 felt like I could get off and check the oil.
