A-10 goodness

  1. Great video! Got to see the cockpit of my friend’s A10 when he was a pilot. Very crowded! I didn’t know anything about A10, but they are so heavily armored they’re like flying tanks. He wasn’t trying to brag or be cool, but calmly said it has 2 external engines “in case one of them gets blown off; it’ll still fly well.” The “bullets” are huge, about 6 inches long and an inch in diameter. They are incredibly heavy for armor-piercing, made of spent uranium. It’s an incredible machine.

  2. A-10 is a pilots aircraft. More, it is a Warriors ride into battle. milktoasts and snowflakes need not apply. men and women of courage who enjoy a good knife fight vie for the privilege.

  3. My friend Tod studied in England for a semester back in the '80s. One of his classes was on NATO, and the prof was talking about the A-10, and said, "...the only plane in the world that can shoot down a bridge"
Another student asked, "Don't you mean Bomb?"
The prof says, "No, SHOOT DOWN!"
