And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Wilson Combat EDC X9 double stack 9mm, with matching Heretic Knives Martyr blade
Just a high dollar 1911 clone. I've never shot one either, but they claim to be high quality. That one looks great, but I don't know if it's worth all the money they want for it. On the other hand, you only live once, and a high dollar toy or two should be encouraged now and then.
I shot one of those EDC X9's - Ken Hackathorn was involved in the design, and he had one at a class I took back in February here in NC. It was very nice! But for the >$3K price tag, I think I'd rather have a nice Sig or Glock or S&W and a lot of ammo to practice or train with. That's generally the way I feel about all high-end pistols, but that said, I'd happily receive one as a gift and shoot the snot out of it!

Never shot a Wilson. Are they essentially re-branded S&W?

DeleteKinda like the Ducati of 1911's.
DeleteThat is slick looking. They make a purdy 9mm 1911. Too many beans for my wallet though.
