Now we learn that even Jeff Flake says if the accuser doesn't testify, he'll support moving forward to a vote. When you've lost even Jeff Flake, you've lost.
Amazingly, once again, Trump has outplayed and out gamed the Democrats and their allies in the press.
Another interesting bit of info is the scathing reviews on the Rate My Professor website about Christine Blasey Ford has been scrubbed. There now is no data on her.

"She's now backing out saying she won't testify until the FBI has investigated her claims... Investigate what and start where exactly...
She can't remember where the house party was, who was there, how she got there, how she left. First it was 4 boys and now two, Judge and Kavanaugh. Amazing how she could remember both boys, much less Kavanaugh's friend Judge when she remembers nothing else?
I agree with Badger...If there is any investigation, start where there are at least evidence of Obstruction, that much we can all agree has obviously taken place here."

Her ability at stalling, coached by Feinstein and Schumer of course, is world class. Trump and his reluctant cohorts have to push this to fruition before November. The American legislative system is being turned into a clown inhabited mockery.
