Our paper money now is good, but this was downright bad azz!
Showing that money was made through hard work, the traditional family unit - with dog - and of course, Andrew Jackson, breaker of big banks, dueler of duels, and victor over the British and the Creek Indian nations.
And the 1000 dollar bill - bring it back! Call it the Kilo Note, but forget Cleveland, put Reagan on it!
Given inflation, I agree; I think the Treasury should bring back the 500 and 1000 dollar bill. If they can make the 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 unique and difficult to fake, they could do the same for the larger bills as well. Regan would be perfect. More heads exploding on the left!
ReplyDeletePut President Trump on the $5,000 banknote.
ReplyDeleteCleveland was the president that Reagan pretended to be.
ReplyDeleteI certainly preferred them when they said UNITED STATES NOTE on them.
ReplyDeleteGold Certificate was better still.
DeleteSo how is this for a conspiracy theory:
DeleteEvery US President that has been assassinated was against central banking, and every one was murdered by a 'lone gunman'.
And the first assassination attempt on a US president? Andrew Jackson, who said on his deathbed his greatest achievement was 'he killed the bank',the Second Bank of the United States, escaped Richard Lawrence when both the lone gunman's pistols misfired. That mistake was never made again.
Kennedy is supposed to have had $1 and $5 notes printed with "US Treasury Note" and $10 and $20 were planned when he was assassinated. Note though it wasn't long after he was gone our coinage went from silver to pot metal.
Madison was traditionally on the $5K note, and I think they should bring that back together with the $1K note. Also, Jackson was also traditionally on the $10K note, and since they've decided to bump him off $20's in favor of some historically obscure but politically favored figure with the correctly configured DNA and chromosomes, maybe they ought to bring back the $10K note with Old Hickory too. Of course, all of these ideas are incompatible with The Man's war on money laundering by international criminals so......
ReplyDeleteI just hope and pray they don't ever put Obama photo on any. BTW, Trying to send you an email from your link, it brings up many windows and they just keep coming.
ReplyDeleteWhat is that $5. worth now?
ReplyDeleteI have one like it
