The Art of Speed

  1. While in the military in Jacksonville Florida, I test drove a 911T at Brumos Porsche. While it was a blast to drive, I purchased another make. But I still remember the salesman’s name that accompanied me on the test drive. Bat Masterson. I don’t know if that was his real name or merely a nom de guerre. But it’s still imbedded in my memory some 40 years later.

  2. One of these days. I've been saying for as long as can remember now. I just love those cars.

  3. Four years ago there was a "Porsche by Design" exhibit at the NC Museum of Art that had 22 historic cars on display, from the earliest to the latest. It was terrific!
