And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
While in the military in Jacksonville Florida, I test drove a 911T at Brumos Porsche. While it was a blast to drive, I purchased another make. But I still remember the salesman’s name that accompanied me on the test drive. Bat Masterson. I don’t know if that was his real name or merely a nom de guerre. But it’s still imbedded in my memory some 40 years later.
Four years ago there was a "Porsche by Design" exhibit at the NC Museum of Art that had 22 historic cars on display, from the earliest to the latest. It was terrific!
