On September 19, a bowhead whale carcass washed ashore the remote Wrangel Island State Nature Reserve off the Northern coast of Siberia. Hundreds of gluttonous polar bears amassed beside it for a Siberian ursine/cetacean feast.
Flooding in to the "all you can eat" beach party. You gotta wonder how word got around so fast! Were all those bears within scent distance?
I thought that they were extinct.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that what Al Gore said?
I think it may have been Al Gore that washed up on the beach. Bear's revenge.
