F+W C-3605 Swiss target tug in flight over the Alps

  2. Pretty aircraft. I first thought it was some Italian design, or at least Italian inspired. But ME-110 derivative?

    After a little research, the base airplane, the C-3603, used a radial engine, with a much smaller nose. The plane design pictured, the C-3605, replaced the radial engine with a much lighter and more powerful Lycoming turboprop. They extended the nose to fix center of gravity issues, which is why the cockpit placement looks, well, sub-optimal.

    Very pretty plane. Definitely euro-sexy.
