Back from a two day road trip for work.

Here to Fresno, spent the night at my sisters.  Then, Fresno to Salinas, and on home.  Tired.   Truck ran like a top, and roared over Pacheco Pass when I stomped on the throttle.  Hit a very high speed coming down past San Luis, but didn't realize how fast as the rest of the traffic was zipping along at a similar speed.

Now, to cruise serenely through the rest of the week.

  1. I've been over Pacheco a few times. Used to be a two lane, windy-ass road with horse troughs on a couple of the corners. Last time I was through there (some time back), there was a tourist trap that made the best milk shakes. For a tired dad with young sons back from camping in the coast range, that was a good watering hole on the journey home.
