The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? As to the PDX mayor, Ted Wheeler is a scion of one of the groups truly responsible for destroying this country. Graduate of Stanford, Columbia MBA, Harvard/Kennedy School Master's in Public Policy. What is glossed over in his biosketches is that he started at Bank of America, then ran Bay State Capital Fund (real estate development) in the very affluent town of Marblehead, Massachusetts, then was a VP for Copper Mountain Trust (a ~$6 billion USD firm specializing in "business trust, custody and high net worth services" [read catering to the rich] followed by Union Bank after UB bought CMT. We barely hear about his decades of doings in the 1% sucking the lifeblood out of the nation, but we hear all about him climbing Everest and doing the Kona Ironman.
