The world's largest cruise ship, the Oasis of the Seas, enters Venice, Italy.
Was in St Croix when one of those monsters docked for 1 day. The dragged the passed out & drugged unconscious, off the sidewalks & into buildings. Set up everything like it was a Party, played loud obnoxious music. Fredericksburg was overrun with tourists. Then, the ship left, and the place collapsed into peace & quite again.
By the next day, it looked like it'd never happened. They had extracted as many dollars as they could, during that carnival-like, phony atmosphere.
Fled the city, all those fancy lights & high expenses, for the high labor but peaceful living on a farm (again). Just as poor as when we moved into the city to make our fortune.
And, we hear Gun Shots here too! Turkey season is coming on, then Deer season.

Sorry, it is definitively AI. Been to Venice more than a dozen times. Proportions are absolutely wrong. The ship is behind the trees/gardens. Look at the bowline. Next body of water is at least 1,6 miles away from the photographer. The ship`s height - if that photo was real - would have to be more than half a mile....not 263 feet.
Does the ship have an all you can eat buffet? I once rode to LT parking with a load of folks just off a cruise ship. Their conversation was all about how much food they ate, and how they had 2nds on desserts. Not for me.
Royal Caribbean is a customer of the company I used to work for. I helped plan and design the server/storage/networking setup on those beasts. Took over 6 months...and that was BEFORE the first server rack was installed or Access Point was wired.

Cruise ships are no different then cities and large crowds. They should be avoided at all costs.

ReplyDeleteYeah I got married on the Crown Princess and this style of ship is their design. You can even see the Princess flag on the bow.
