A gun hidden within a bible, made for Francesco Morozini, Doge of Venice (1619-1694). The owner of the bible could pull the silk bookmark to shoot while the book was still closed. Now on display at the Museo Correr in Venice

  4. Brings to mind the movie "Five Card Stud" where Robert Mitchum plays a sinister preacher with a revolver hidden this same way, but his killing spree comes to an end when Dean Martin's character notices the bible the preacher is reading from is upside down and ends the murderous spree in a shootout.
