The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Yes, never been a fan. The Japanese have a dish called 'Shabu Shabu', where paper-thin slices of this are picked up with chopsticks and then swished through a hot beef broth to cook them, then down the hatch. Tasty, but so rich, and too much fat, really.
I’ve eaten a fair bit of SnakeRiver Farms Wagyu; some are far better than others but overall, a little too ‘greasy’ for my tastes.
