And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

This is just mechanically beautiful. Is it just me?
No, it's not just you... Symmetry can be found in many places... For instance, electrical wiring, for example... most folks are totally unaware, as they don't get the opportunity to see, because it's either covered up by sheet rock and wall board... or it's in an industrial setting... where only employees might see, and notice... Good electricians, especially industrial electricians, weave wiring and conduit in masterfully patterns of flow to transformers, breaker boxes, and heavy industrial equipment... I worked on US3 which is the Spartanburg, S.C. Michelin Tire plant... After the millwrights set BD-13, which is a roller press, and it's supporting panels, and such... Running the raceway, conduit runs, and landing all the connections, I was amazed at the art work it had become... Basically, I was an electricians electrician... and the precision of the wiring was striking to behold, as each and every run was nearly exactly in concert with the run right next to it... As the runs, wiring, and raceway, weaved around obstacles, such as metal supports for the building and other pre-existing features... It was a concert and pattern to behold... One more example, in cabinetry, once the cabinets are all installed, both uppers and lowers of a residential kitchen, for instance... a 15'-18' run of cabs, with beaded face frames, inset doors and drawers, all line up, and looking down the run from one end to the other can be magical in appearance... especially, once the pulls and /or knobs are installed... perfect harmony can be striking... Each and every bead, door/drawer pull, sitting in alignment with each other in exacting positions... Yes, symmetry can be found in some of the most unexpected places... And it's the tradesman's/craftsman's way of making art...
No, it's not just you. Must be fairly old, though; I can't remember the last time I saw a drum brake on a front wheel.
