And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

From when Jaguar could actually build beautiful cars
Given how much press has been given to the new Jaguar 01 (even at Goodwood last week) I can only imagine how bad it will really be. Do we need another 1000hp appliance masquerading as a car? Ian Tyrrell just featured a couple of very nice D-Types on his YT channel on Sunday. Steve_in_Ottawa
Yes and no. The D-Type and the XK140 were beautiful but the MkVII saloon and the smaller 2.4Litre saloon (later renamed the Mk1) not so much. Al_in_Ottawa
